Status of Parks & Rec Facilities & Open Spaces During COVID-19

Please see this new map that shows the current status of our Parks & Recreation facilities and open spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic. Outdoor exercise is allowed during the Stay at Home emergency order, but it is recommended that you not drive far to do so. Portland is lucky to have more than 90% of its residents live within a 10-minute walk to one of our open spaces/trails. Please remember to keep a six foot distance from others while you utilize our parks, trails, and open spaces.  

Riverside Golf Course:  Open
Tennis & Pickleball Courts:  Open
​Playgrounds:  Open
Basketball & Volleyball Courts:  Open
Athletic Fields:  Open for rentals
Kiwanis Pool:  Reopens July 1 for public use & Summer Recreation Program use
Riverton Pool:  Reopens July 1 for lap swim. Reiche pool closed for summer.
Summer Recreation Program:  Starts July 6 *Must register in advance.
Troubh Ice Arena:  Tentatively opening September 1

Community Centers: No set reopening date at this time.
Splash Pads and Deering Oaks Ravine: No set reopening date at this time.
Public restrooms at East End Beach: Outdoor showers are on and porta-potties will be coming soon.
